
FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PSYCHO-SOCIAL CONSEQUENCES OF WAR
Dubrovnik - Croatia, 26th - 30th April 1998.
Abstracts should be submitted in English or French. Send the original and five copies to the Secretariat. Please note that only abstracts submitted together with the registration form and fee will be considered.
Follow the instructions in the sample abstract scheme below. Abstracts which do not conform to the se instructions will be not included in the final program book.

Abstracts should be typed on good quality white paper, in black
ink, suitable for direct reproduction. Fax transmissions are not
acceptable. There is no abstract form. The standard format for
abstracts requires an area which is 14cm (5") wide x 20cm
(8") high. Type single-spaced. Include title (in upper case),
authors (names initials only and no degrees), institutions and
addresses. Underline name of presenter if not the first author.
Live one line between authors and text and justify the text. No
paragraphs within the text. |
Outside the abstract area, specify type of presentation: oral or poster, and that the abstract is for the WVF's First International Conference on the Psycho-Social Consequences of War.
Deadline for abstracts is February 23, 1998.

These conference fees include participation in conference sessions, daily lunches, tea and coffee, a get together party, the reception at Rector's Palace, the conference dinner, a guided city tour of Dubrovnik, all conference material, final program book, and a satchel with the conference logo.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
All payments (registration, accommodation, and tours) can be made either by bank cheque, bank transfer, or Visa, Diners, American Express or Master card. (Please note: personal cheques will not be accepted!) Payments can be made in U.S. dollars only. For details on methods of payment see enclosed payment form.
Completion of payment for hotel accommodation and optional tours will be requested when you arrive at the registration desk of the Conference.
TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE
...please print and complete the Registration form and return it together with the registration fee payment to the Secretariat by mail or fax.
Registrations can not be processed without full payment. No telephone registrations will be accepted.
REGISTRATION ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Confirmation of your registration and accommodation details will be returned to you as soon as possible after receipt of your completed form and remittance. For those registering after April 8,1998. written acknowledgment will be placed in your delegate documents, available at registration.
ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION
Certificates of verification of attendance of the Conference will be available for each participant upon request.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Notification of cancellation must be submitted in writing. Cancellations received by April 15 will be subject to a $50 cancellation charge. No refunds will be made for cancellations received within seven days to the Conference.
